cyanotypes, an alternative photographic process, provide a natural method of producing images that embody an antiquated aesthetic which pairs well with themes of dreams, childhood memories, and mythology. i am interested in the intersection of spirit and the subconscious throughout all facets of life. my work represents these themes, as well as womanhood, biophilia, and belonging.

much of my work combines archival family photos with contemporary photographs of my hometown, water valley, ms, to create surrealistic photographic collages. i use antique laces and wildflowers to create photograms which document delicate objects using an inherently ephemeral medium.
